" This painting is of my dog ‘Nimo’ when he was 11 years old. He is a Friesland Hound, a rare Dutch breed, dating back to the 18th century. He has a very gentle nature, super quiet and a little shy at times.
Joe Lewis did an excellent job of creating his facial expression and eyes. It is a very realistic likeness and painted with lovely impressionistic brush strokes. I also asked for a colorful work to fit my interior and I am happy how Joe gave form to that as well.
